Ernest is a 2-year-old shy boy who came from a house with many cats. He is still getting used to people and enjoys the fun/yummy things they bring him. Zeke has made his way to us after being in a home his entire life. He is 5-6 years old and is neutered. He is getting used to our routine and movements and seems curious about what we are doing. He is also slowly learning to like us petting him. Zeke is looking for a home as an only pet and with someone who is patient with him while he warms up and gets used to new surroundings. Jen is a sweet 5 year old cat who has been our longest resident at the shelter. Jen loves people and gets along with some dogs and cats. Jen can be a bit of a bully and does best with cats that let her be in charge. She has some special needs including a Urinary Hairball food diet. Jen does have some litter box issues and does better when there are multiple clean litterboxes available. Jen's favorite locations are up high and in the sun. Moxie is a sweet old lady. She has lived with dogs and a wide range of people. She is a chatty squeaky girl who wants attention.

Tater Chip is a sweet small girl who came in as a stray, so we are learning more about her everyday. She has loved all the people she has met so far but doesn't seem to be a fan of other 4-legged friends. She has been a very enthusiastic greater and loves to get as close as possible to people. She enjoys treats and is learning about walking on a leash. She will be seen by our vet and be up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed before she goes home.

Peggy is a sweet girl who came to us after being hit by a car. She has been recovering well and is currently on cage rest. Peggy had a broken hip so she is not currently allowed to play or jump but she loves pets and attention. Peggy has been healing well and has another follow up before she is cleared to be spayed and made ready for adoption. We are unsure how she feels about other animals at this time as we are trying to keep her a calm as possible. Chole is a big girl. She was very nervous at first coming to the shelter but has adjusted well and is now a very cuddly cat. She may still like to play with hands but she also enjoys sitting on shoulders and exploring. She does not seem to be a fan of other cats and has had a previous bad experience with a dog. May is a 1-2-year-old shy cat that came from a house with many other cats. She is learning to trust people and would benefit from a quiet home. May gets along with other cats and a friendly companion might help her adjust faster. May enjoys shredded cat food and catnip toys. This high energy eight-month-old girl is ready for her forever home. Freya loves bubbles and will play with them as long as you let her. She is looking for a home that has the patience for high energy puppy training. Freya is very interested in learning, she knows sit and down and has been working on touch, fetch and about walking on a leash.

Hattie is a very sweet girl who loves treats. She has been in the office around cats and has played with dogs. Hattie has a very bouncy play style and tolerates most dogs but does not appreciate being humped.
Hattie is incredibly smart and food driven. She knows sit and is learning to wait at doors, touch, and down. She didn't seem to have much experience walking on a leash but caught on quickly and is now one of the best walkers at the shelter. Hattie does like to jump on people to say hello which we have been working on. Coming out of her kennel Hattie is very high energy but during home visits she settles fairly quickly and wants to chill on the couch.
