Chole is a big girl at 6 years old. She was very nervous at first coming to the shelter but has adjusted well and is now a very cuddly cat who enjoys sitting on shoulders and exploring. She seems selective of other cats and has had a previous bad experience with a dog. Chloe would make a very good single pet and rule over whatever house she is in.

Stanley is a young dog found with a littermate who unfortunately did not make it. He came in as a stray, so we are learning more about him every day. He likes the other dogs at the shelter but may be too excited by the cats. He seems to like children although every person he meets gets announced with a loud bay. his favorite treats currently seem to be peanut butter pill pockets. MaryAnne is a 12.5-year-old cat with diabetes. She is currently living in a foster home and trying a pill medication to control her blood sugar. She is sweet with her people and enjoys hanging out on cat trees. To meet with MaryAnne please fill out an adoption application.

Zeke has made his way to us after being in a home his entire life. He is 5-6 years old and is neutered.
When not in his cage Zeke is very dog like in behavior. He would like to hang out with his people as much as possible and follows staff around. Zeke loves to play, especially with feathers or wand toys.
In his cage he is more stressed and uncomfortable. He is getting used to our routine and movements and seems curious about what we are doing. Zeke is looking for a home as an only pet and with someone who is patient with him while he warms up and gets used to new surroundings.

Peggy is a sweet girl who came to us after being hit by a car. She has been recovering well and is currently on cage rest. Peggy had a broken pelvis, so she is not currently allowed to play or jump but she loves pets and attention. This high energy eight-month-old girl is ready for her forever home. Freya loves bubbles and will play with them as long as you let her. She is looking for a home that has the patience for high energy puppy training. Freya is very interested in learning, she knows sit and down and has been working on touch, fetch and about walking on a leash.

Aries is a sweet pocket pittie who loves people. He came in with patchy skin which we treated but he may have allergies in the future.
Aires is a snorty guy who loves attention, but he prefers women at first. He has lived with men, and he warms up after meeting them. Aires knows a variety of cute tricks including sit pretty and dance! He is very food motivated and quick to learn.
Aries is more of a home body, preferring to spend as little time outside as possible. He can sometimes be bribed into enjoying walks in the woods if it's warm out but thinks the winter is evil. Inside he likes to play with toys and knows fetch.

Sansa first came to us as a kitten in 2016 with her sisters. She was semi feral and unused to people. She was adopted to a sweet owner who unfortunately passed away. Sansa seems confused about being at the shelter, she tolerates pets but doesn't come forward to people. She would much rather hide and come out when everyone is calm and stationary. Ernest is a 4-year-old shy boy who came from a house with many cats. He is still getting used to people and enjoys the fun/yummy things they bring him. Jen is a sweet 5 year old cat who has been our longest resident at the shelter. Jen loves people and gets along with some dogs and cats. Jen can be a bit of a bully and does best with cats that let her be in charge. She has some special needs including a Urinary Hairball food diet. Jen does have some litter box issues and does better when there are multiple clean litterboxes available. Jen's favorite locations are up high and in the sun. Tater Chip is a sweet small girl who came in as a stray, so we are learning more about her everyday. She has loved all the people she has met so far but doesn't seem to be a fan of other 4-legged friends. She has been a very enthusiastic greater and loves to get as close as possible to people. She is learning about walking on a leash and seems excited to stick her face in the snow.
Tater loves to play and one of her favorite things to do on walks is to find the largest stick she can and carry it along. Tater also likes to play tug with stuffies.

May is a 4-year-old semi feral cat that came from a house with many other cats. She is learning to trust people and would benefit from a quiet home. May enjoys shredded cat food and catnip toys.
