A Little of What's Been Going On.

We have been trying to keep everyone as up to date as possible, via Facebook, with what's been going on here at the shelter. Since May, we have been under construction, building a new dog isolation area, a new fenced in dog area, a new and better configured office/reception area, and more. While this has been going on, we still have been doing intakes, adoptions, and Dog Control. The staff has been continuously taking care of our everyday duties; walking, cleaning, and feeding the dogs, cleaning and feeding the cats, laundry, dishes, sweeping, answering phones, raising money from our sales cabin, etc. We are so grateful for our volunteers who help us out with these daily tasks. We are also very grateful to those who have continuously donated towards all areas of our facility, whether it be monetarily, items for the shelter or for our sales, and especially their time.

Thank you to those who continue to be patient with us as we have had so much going on this year to get ready for the future. It's amazing to see the blueprint finally come to life, and the befores and afters. We are so excited for this project to be complete and for everyone to be able to see it complete.

Another reminder: We know times are difficult, especially this time of the year. We are still running our pet food pantry to help those in need.
