We need your help!
As many of you already know, we will begin very soon on construction and renovation of our facility. This is a very old building built in 1899. We wanted to do some research on the building and property and have already begun digging online. We've even sent out some emails to the local library, museum, and newspapers for any documents, articles, and photos that may be of help. But we want to hear from you as well. We know that our building was home to the Leis family, we know it was a general store, had a bowling alley, and was a few different bar/restaurants throughout the years. We hear all the time when people come in about how they used to frequent this place when it was The Algonquin and Paige's. We want to hear your stories, memories, and see photos of this place back in the day. Although we are not quite sure what we want to do with all this information yet, we want the community to be involved and pay kind of tribute to this building that has been so great to us. So, if you want to be a part of something cool, and share your stories, please email Kendal at team@trilakeshumanesociety.org
We so look forward to hearing from you all!
