We're partnering with FARVets again to offer a low-cost spay/neuter and rabies clinic for cats in the Tri-Lakes area on Friday, November 10th. The clinic will take place at the shelter (255 George LaPan Memorial Hwy, Saranac Lake, NY). Rabies vaccines are only for those cats receiving spay/neuter. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

Spay/neuter and vaccines are critical for the welfare of cats, but the cost can often be prohibitive to low-income owners. We want to help! This clinic is designed to ensure that underserved cat owners can keep their cats safe and make sure they don't parent any unplanned litters. Spaying and neutering your cat helps reduce overpopulation, reduces spraying/marking/roaming behaviors, and can lower the risk of certain cancers.

The clinic is available to low-income residents and feral/stray cat caregivers in the Tri-Lakes Humane Society service area for $85 per cat. Pre-registration is required.
