We're Building a Better Future—But We Can't Do It Alone

We’re $500,000 away from being able to keep our doors open and continue "Saving Little Lives" every day.

New laws are going into effect soon, and to keep our shelter open and our animals safe, we’ve begun major construction to meet those new standards.

We were fortunate to receive a $500,000 grant—an incredible gift we’re so grateful for—but the reality is:

It's Not Enough

There is a significant amount of work that needs to be completed—structural repairs, plumbing and electrical upgrades, ventilation improvements, expanded isolation areas, handicap-accessible facilities, and new animal housing. The true cost of these necessary changes goes well beyond the grant we received.

Why This Matters

This work is essential to keeping our shelter safe, functional, and open to the animals and people who rely on us. Without these critical upgrades, we risk falling short of the standards needed to operate—putting vulnerable animals and the future of our shelter at risk. Every improvement helps ensure we can continue providing care, shelter, and second chances to the animals who need us most.

Ways You Can Help Right Now

  • Make a donation — every gift, big or small, brings us closer to a safe, compliant shelter.

  • Sponsor part of the renovation — kennels, cat condos, exam rooms, or even tools and supplies.

  • Share our story — help us reach new supporters by spreading the word.

This Shelter Belongs to the Whole Community

We’ve come this far because of your support. Let’s finish this together.
